Delivery Manager (Lviv)
Overview
LaSoft is an established IT company that has been building custom digital solutions for businesses worldwide for over 10 years. We are currently looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join our team and oversee a portfolio of 4-6 complex projects.
In this role, you will be the bridge between top management and our production teams. You will move beyond simple project management to focus on operational excellence, high-level strategy, and sustainable portfolio delivery and growth. You will join a highly collaborative department, working closely with Engineering, Design, QA, and Business Analysis teams to ensure we deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
The Role
As a Delivery Manager at LaSoft, your mission is to ensure predictable, high-quality project execution. You will be hiring and leading a team of Project Managers, managing strategic-level client relationships, and continuously refining our delivery processes. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about building effective teams and delivering impactful software that solves real business problems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers.
- Foster a culture of accountability and professional growth within Project Managers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders.
- Handle high-level escalations and manage client expectations.
- Standardize delivery processes and project management best practices.
- Improve operational efficiency across the delivery department.
- Monitor project budgets, resource utilization, and profitability.
- Oversee capacity planning and workload distribution.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding new Project Managers.
- Identify, track, and mitigate portfolio-level risks.
- Support presales with staffing plans and project estimations.
- Provide regular status reports and KPI updates to leadership.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Delivery Manager, Senior PM, or in a similar leadership role in IT.
- Proven track record of managing a portfolio of complex software projects from discovery to release.
- Experience in hiring, mentoring, and managing Project Managers or team leads.
- Deep understanding of SDLC and practical experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall frameworks.
- Excellent client-facing skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong financial literacy with experience in project budgets, KPIs, and resource metrics.
- Ability to identify process gaps and drive organizational changes to improve efficiency.
- Strong working proficiency in English (B2–C1) for daily communication with international clients.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications (Agile Leadership, SAFe Agilist Certification ).
- Background in Business Analysis or Technical Project Management.
